Aprima is vision

On October 1, 2010, Aprima Medical Software announced that Aprima 2011 is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as a Complete EHR on September 30, 2010 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT ®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

In addition to that,  Aprima 2011 is a CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR additionally certified for Child Health EHR technology. Aprima 2011 also achieved a usability score of 5 out of 5. Aprima’s product releases have consistently met CCHIT criteria dating back to the first ambulatory EHR review by CCHIT in 2006. As a company, Aprima Medical Software is one of only 4 companies, out of more than 350, that has delivered solutions that met all government criteria including ONC-ATCB as a Complete EHR; CCHIT 2006, 2007, 2008, 2011; CCHIT’s Child Health criteria; and achieved the aforementioned 5 star usability rating.

Aprima is a single application built on a single database. This means you can access a patient’s chart or insurance information without having to close one database and open another. Most companies deploy separate EHR and PM databases. That adds complexity. Or they let separate EHR/PM applications share a database. That creates conflicts when one application gets an upgrade. Install our software on your server for control. Or, for simplicity, choose the Application Service Provider (ASP) approach (aka Software as a Service, or SaaS). You’ll need only an Internet connection and browser. Our Revenue Cycle Management solution is available in concert with the EHR and/or PM…or by itself. We’ll manage the rest.
